Castle recognizes that the long term health of the woodworking industry in the United States will be due in part to the continued infusion of fresh talent into the industry. Castle has developed a program we call Fortify Your School which is intended to support the efforts of educational programs throughout the country that strive to teach industry skills to the next generation of American Woodworkers.
By partnering with WoodLINKS and others in the industry, Castle actively supports those programs that prepare students to enter the woodworking industry as employees of industry, or as entrepreneurs in small businesses of their own. To this end Castle provides products to these programs at cost, or in some cases as an outright donation. It is our intention to recognize and support those teachers and programs whose efforts are making a difference to our industry.
